Black and White and Chic All Over

I was going to call this post “Pretty Badass;Pretty Sweet” but I’m going cliché instead.  I am trying to stretch my wardrobe as much as possible and I was very inspired by this picture in Harper’s Bazaar:

But you know what?  Sometimes I don’t want to be “edgy” I want to be a pretty, pretty, princess (I am dating myself there).  So I styled this outfit two different ways.

With just the change of a couple accessories this outfit transforms.  The potential’s are endless.  For an even more girlie look, try a full, high-waisted skirt.  Even edgier?  Throw on studded anything and try a dramatic lip. Here are some more out-takes for your viewing pleasure.

The List:

The black and white striped tee will be a major part of my winter wardrobe.  It is so now, so french and so chic.  I got this on for $12 from H&M and will probably buy several over the season (there is one at Zara I am lusting over).  I great tee is such a cheap, easy way to transform a closet full of clothes.  Try it out!
